We’re Southeast Wyoming natives who geek out on fixing old buildings, dark roast coffee, xc skiing in the winter, hiking and camping in the summer, gardening and sourdough (Sarah), and building sh*t and hunting antelope (Stoney). After years of renovating or building everything from a tipi to an Earthship and a 1920s grocery store, we created Railtown Supply & Retreat to offer elevated stays with a lived-in elegance inspired by the grit and grace of the high plains.
We come from sheep ranchers, railroad workers, jacks of all trades, public servants, and artists, and we bring that scrappy determinism to everything we do. Throughout our homes, you’ll spot art and furniture Stoney has made, vintage pieces sourced by Sarah, and work from the people we love—beadwork by Stoney’s mom, paintings by Sarah’s brother, knives refurbished by her dad, and handmade housewares and art from a ragtag crew of “Laramigos.”
Side note: We built the black house behind the Tree Area Classic in 2022, and now live and work there. We’re homebodies at heart, so we give guests plenty of space—but we’re always just a message away if you need anything at all.
